Grandma was the daughter of John August "Gust" Pierson and Hilma Christine Granlund. Their headstones are on findagrave thanks to the person who put them up here. My grandparents were married 100 years ago today - June 18, 1913.
When I was little my grandma taught me "Children of the Heavenly Father" in Swedish. Still remember most of it. Grandma didn't remarry after grandpa died. She lived in the same house over 50 years. She was the mother of Marian Louise Benson Hilbert, Madeline and my mom.
Grandma's siblings were Arthur, Ethel(Erickson), Jessie(Carstedt), Jennie(Gehler) and Clark Pierson.
