PAUL J. STOUFFER, SR., 81, of 9232 Letzburg Road, Greencastle, died Tuesday evening, March 27, in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Jan. 16, 1909, in Antrim Township, he was a son of the late Daniel H. and Susan E. (Johnson) Stouffer. His wife, Evelyn F. Stouffer, died in 1985.
Mr. Stouffer was a member of Shanks Church of the Brethren, Greencastle. He was a farmer all of his life.
Surviving are a son, Paul J. Stouffer, Jr. of Greencastle; three brothers, Luther Stouffer and Fred Stouffer, both of Greencastle, and Howard Stouffer of Mercersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Miller of Greencastle and Mrs. Ruth Grove of Mercersburg three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Shanks Church of the Brethren, with the Revs. Roy Hawbaker and Clarence Showalter officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, and at the church one hour before the services on Saturday.
