Born June 22, 1913 in Latherwood, Minn., she was a daughter of the late William and Cora (Fessenden) Clendening.
She was predeceased by her children, Charles Thomas, Don Galpin, Arlene "Chick" Anderson; and grandsons, Tim Anderson and Mike Galpin.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Thomas, Waverly; a son-in-law, Chuck Anderson and his friend, Dot Schooley, Candor; grandchildren, Terry (Sue) Anderson, Candor, Mark Galpin, Texas, and Kim Galpin, Ogdensburg; sister-in-law, Florence Clendening, Windsor.
She was a member of the Fairfield United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held September 12, 1997. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
