Rick Arms, 59, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away June 13, 2013. He was born January 26, 1954 to William and Dovie Arms in Shawnee, OK. Rick enjoyed wood working and hunting. He also enjoyed building and creating websites on the computer. Rick was a mechanic most of his working career and had worked at Fowler Toyota and Bob Moore Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era on the USS Saratoga. Rick recently recieved an honorable discharge fro services rendered to his country. He loved geneology and created family trees for his family, Lawanna's family and several others. Rick loved joking around with people. His first love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Lawanna of the home; 5 children, Rickie Arms, Jr. of OKC, Cecilia Young and husband Scott of Midwest City, William Hayes of OKC, Tim Hayes of Lonoke, AR, David Hayes and wife Teresa of OKC; 3 grandchildren, Dakota Arms, Peyton Arms, and Isabelle Arms of Fort Worth, TX; 1 brother, Dennis Arms and wife Lorrie of Chandler; 1 sister, Evelyn (Cottrell) Hopkins of Eufaula; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & other loving family members and friends. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, Norman, OK.
