Marvin loved being a dairy farmer (receiving the Outstanding Young Farmers Award in 1956), spending time at his daughter and son-in-law's shop (Bell Fabrication) and visiting with anyone who would stop by, deer hunting, and watching old western TV shows and Mollie B (polka show).
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Elizabeth Venske; brothers, Virgil, Myron (his twin), Curtis and Vernon; sisters, Elvira Petrich, Doris Anderson, Ila Woodworth and Viola Sanders.
