Harold Francis Angus and Maude Jeanette McMillan were married 11 Sep 1926 in the RM of Louise. Their family's story is told in the local history book "Memories Along the Badger Revisited" published in 1985.

Drafted as a Private, Service number 2379450 in the 1st Manitoba Depot, Canadian Expeditionary Force in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 9 Jan 1918. He served in the 8th Canadian Infantry Battalion in France and was discharged from the service by reason of demobilization on 17 May 1919 in Ottawa, Ontario.
