Richard is survived by his wife, Julia Crowe Galvin Adams whom he married May 22, 1970' son, Richard Adams, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Patricia Corbridge of Dowagic, Michigan; stepson, Michael Galvin of Chicago, Illinois; stepdaughter, Mary Strom of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Goldie Treadway of Marietta, Ohio; brothers, Clarence Adams, Arthur Adams both of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
