Funeral services for John Tucker, 59, of Mathis, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Davis Chapel in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Mr. Tucker was born June 2, 1932 in Seagoville, Texas. He died Jan. 13 at V.A. Hospital in Houston. He served in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Tucker of Mathis; his father, Ona Tucker of Seagoville; four daughters, Rhonda Smith of Dallas, Doris Vacek of Richmond, Betty Schaffer of Mathis, and Leona Rychlik of Richmond; a son, John F. Tucker of Dallas; a sister, Ann Grubbs of Seagoville; four brothers, M.A. Tucker of Dallas, Arthur Tucker of Dallas, Owen Tucker of Dallas, and R.T. Tucker of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
