Carrol passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia, Kans., following a lingering illness. He had spent his entire life in and around Scandia. He was a member of the Amana Lutheran Church of Scandia, and Lebanon Lodge No. 221 A. F. & A. M. of Scandia.
Immediate survivors are, his wife, Mildred of the home two daughters, Miss Judith Anderson of the home and Mrs. Anita Sothers of Courtland, Kans., his mother, Mrs. Minnie Anderson of Scandia, one sister Mrs. Walter Henry of California, and three granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at the Amana Lutheran church on Monday, October 5, 1964 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment was in Riverview Cemetery, Scandia.
