Obituary on funeral home web site: Funeral service celebrating the life of Shelby Jean Driggers, 74, of Columbia who passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral Home officiated by Reverend James Thompson. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12-1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donny Driggers, Dylan Willis, Joe Driggers, Josh Driggers, Reed Driggers and Gary Knafelc. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Dorcas Sunday School Class of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 1920 Cedar Creek Road, Blythewood, SC 29016. Miss Driggers was born June 4, 1938 in Columbia, SC to the late Marvin D. Driggers and Mary Clemons Driggers. She retired after 22 faithful years with the city of Columbia as a data services clerk. Surviving are brother, Charles A. Driggers (Claudia); nephews, Joe Driggers, Donny Driggers, James Driggers and Mike Driggers; nieces, Kathy Willis and Susan Knafelc all of Columbia, SC. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, David Driggers and J.F. Driggers.
