A. W. Culler, a well known resident of Liberty Street, whose serious illness has previously been noted in these columns, died about seven o'clock last night from typhoid fever. Mr. Culler was about forty five years of age, and leaves a wife and four children to mourn their loss. Mr. Culler's wife who is also very sick with typhoid fever, was no better last night and small hope is entertained for her recovery.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. W. G. Walters, pastor of the deceased, assisted by Rev. H. A. Brown, of the First Baptist Church. The Salem Jr. O.U.A.M. No. 14, will attend the funeral in a body. Mr. Culler was an active member of this body.
