F. P. LOVE DEAD.
Franklin P. Love died at the home on South Locust street Wednesday night. Death was caused by tuberculosis of the stomach.
Mr. Love suffered an attack of pleurisy about the middle of last January, from which he never fully recovered, although he was able to be on the streets until about six weeks ago, when he suffered a second attack of illness.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. The pastor, Rev. C. M. Duncan, officiated. Burial was in the Arcola cemetery.
Mr. Love was born near Paola, Ind. Jan. 9, 1855. He resided there until after his marriage to Miss Mollie M. Mallicoat, Jan. 1, 1879. The mother and the following children survive: Charles Love, Parsons, Kan.; Mrs. Mark Cummins, Miss Lula Love and Archie Love, residents of Arcola. The family came to this vicinity twenty-four years ago.
