Left to mourn her passing are her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Brenda (Lana, Corey), Wayne (Jamie, Jiggs, Chelsea, Kaycee), Louann & Troy (Markee); Dakota, Trez-man, Jeziah, Karlee, Jace, Kaylin, Maria, Co-Co, Jamie K, and baby Eva; brothers & sisters Winston (Martha), June, Rita (Keith), Harriet, Wilton (Trina), Chester (Bonnie), Lavern (Rodney), Bruce (Carla), Perry, Patsy, and Delia (John); Beverly Hungry Wolf (adopted sister), Julianne (sister-in-law), Robert Delaney (son-in-law), Little Bear (adopted brothers), aunts Christine (Irvine Shade) and Mae Singer; Special friends Geraldine Thunder Chief, Emelda Black Water, Martha Oka and Elsie First Rider, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended families.
Rosaline was predeceased by a daughter Jodie Marie and a great grandson Mason James; parents Victor and Lucy; siblings Jarvie, Doris, Alfreda, Judy Kay; nephews Brent, Robbie, Wilbur, Bradley and Kerry.
Rosaline received her formal education at the St. Mary's Residential School. She was raised on the Blood Reserve and made her home on the Reserve as well. Her experiences at school and at home reinforced the ethics of hard work. Rosaline's skillset and many talents enabled her to be employed all her life until her retirement. Upon retirement she dedicated and devoted herself and time to being the best homemaker to her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Rosaline instilled many values in her children but prominently education. Her greatest pride was her children's accomplishments. Rosaline taught her children well - independency and self-sufficiency.
Rosaline was a devout Catholic. She attended church on Sundays and recited the rosary on a daily basis. She travelled to the holy shrines in Rome and Lac St. Ann. Rosaline had great respect for our cultural and traditional way of life.
Mom leaves us a legacy of work ethics, love and generosity. We will fondly remember Mom for her generous spirit and the love she expressed to us in her own special way. Mom was a special aunt to Lucille, Karen, Charlene and Debbie Rose, who spent many hours by her side.
It is with deep sadness we express the loss of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
