Life's Work/Service/Interests: Dr. Jo Graham, Ph.D, taught school in Provo for three years after graduating from BYU. She later graduated from LDS Business College. She worked at Continental Bank and Makoff Department Store. She returned to teaching at Uintah School. She received her MS degree in Education from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. She attended the University of Maryland and received her Doctorate in 1970. She taught education at the University of Oklahoma for 1 year, and then went to work for the US Department of Education in Denver, CO with the Head Start Program. She retired from the federal government and traveled extensively with her sister, Gayle, Roberta Ford and her friend, Marilyn. On June 13, 2013, Dr. Jo Graham, Ph.D a renowned educator, died in Salt Lake City. She was 97.
Survived By: Many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents, sisters, Letha Graham Thatcher and Gayle Graham.
