Fred W. Cole, only son of the late William M. and Sara Jane Cole, formerly of Calistoga, passed away on Thursday of last week in Napa of heart trouble of long standing.
He was born June 23, 1879, on the F. E. Kellogg place, now owned by F. Salmina & Company. He spent the most of his life in Napa county. He was married on November 17, 1923, to Mrs. Mary Hughes, and by that union, leaves one son, Billie, twelve years of age. The following sisters survive: Mrs. Luella Decker, Mrs. Nona Wolleson, both of Calistoga; Mrs. Martha Williams of Santa Barbara, and Mrs. Sadie Cutler of Walnut Creek.
The funeral was held from the Moran Funeral Parlor son Sunday and interment took place at the "Old White Church" cemetery beside his father and mother, who passed away many years ago.
