Lillie enjoyed staying home and watching TV, especially Gunsmoke, Bonanza and the "Judge" shows. She never had children and never learned to drive so she was dependent on her niece and caregiver, Donna Bourriague, who faithfully cared for her after Lillie's husband, David Swartz, passed away in 1993.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Srikanth and all the staff at Wesleyan Health Care for all the care they gave Lillie and for making her final days more comfortable. They would also like to thank the Marion General Hospital 5 West Nurses and staff who took excellent care of Lillie along with Dr. Edwards, her surgeon. Special thanks to Shelly Bower for being so kind and getting Auntie's medicines filled on time.

A private service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, February 26, at First Pentecostal Church, 1116 S. Pennsylvania Ave.
