A. L. BREEDLOVE DIES AT HIS HOME NEAR ARCOLA
Arcola, Ill., March 20. -- Anson L. Breedlove, a resident of near Arcola for the past 35 years, died at his home one mile east of town Saturday evening, following a week's illness. He had been in failing health for the past few years.
The funeral was conducted at the family home this afternoon. Burial was in the Arcola cemetery.
Mr. Breedlove was born in Centerton, Ind., July 14, 1860, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Breedlove. When a boy he came with his parents to Illinois, locating in Douglas county, and he had since resided in this vicinity, except for the two years spent in Edgar county.
Forty-eight years ago he married Miss Bluma Breeden and to this union one child was born, a son, James A. Breedlove, who resides in Arcola.
Mr. Breedlove was a member of the Arcola Masonic lodge, which organization had charge of the services at the grave.
Mrs. E. E. Watson of Arcola is a sister.
