NETTIE, beloved wife of our esteemed citizen Frank A. Baker, who died Jan. 2nd, 1890, was the daughter of Franklin and Sarah Jane Spencer. She was born in Manti City, Sanpete Co., Utah, July 11, 1866, moved to Richfield with her parents in the year 1877; was for many years Telegraph Operator here, and was married September 1st, 1886. She was a most estimable young woman, and was greatly respected by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and two small children, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss, for of her it can be truly said, "to know her was to love her".
