Marguerite E. "Dutch" Fox Carnes, 82, of Steelton, died Friday, June 14, 2013 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was a retired Clerk for the PA Dept. of Transportation, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Steelton.
Dutch was the daughter of the late Simon S. Fox and Elizabeth Behrens Fox Henry and the widow of Ford L. Carnes, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Ford L. "Skip" Carnes, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Middletown and Mark "Jack" Carnes and his wife, Debra of Steelton; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Hollern of Steelton and Kristine M. Marjan of Harrisburg; one sister, Myrtle Murlin Verbinski of Harrisburg; half sister, Doris Fox Roganish of Cuba, MO; nine grandchildren, Paul Carnes and wife, Michelle, Michael Carnes and wife, Gina, Andrew Carnes and wife, Trisha, Jessica Welsh and husband, Kevin, Mark "JJ" Carnes and wife, Alexis, Amy Stair and husband, Rob, Karen Weiss and husband, Jack, and Ashley and George Marjan; 15 great grandchildren; one uncle, Herbert C. Fox of Springhope, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Dr. B. Michael Brossman, her Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 1010 Orchard Dr., Steelton, PA 17113.
