TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Maude D. Piper, 56 years old, wife of Oscar A. Piper, assistant city engineer, died yesterday at her home, 4126 Sunnyside Ave.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday at Forkner's Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Piper, a native of Vilas, S.D., moved to Oregon with her parents when she was a young girl. Later she lived for a time in Olympia and Bellingham prior to coming to Seattle thirty years ago.
Surviving besides Mr. Piper are two children by a former marriage, Fred W. and James G. Llewellyn; her mother, Mrs. Lora G. Flesher, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Mersa Liljequist, Salem, Or., and a brother, Claude Flesher, Olympia.
