Obituary: Blake, Mrs. Fred (Edna) - Died Thursday, Sept. 15, at 2:35 at the Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence. Age 82, she was a native of Missouri and resident of Kentwood. Body at Brown Funeral Home in Kentwood. Religious services at the Kentwood Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Landrum Salley. Burial in Woodland Cemetery in Kentwood. Visiting hours after 1 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers are Frederick Gill, E. Ray Gill, Danny Gill, Jack Morrison, and Paul Blades. She is survived by two sons, Henry and Charles (Bud), both of Coffeyville, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Gill of Spring Creek, Mrs. Ia Mae Morrison of New Orleans, and Mrs. Ruby Blades of Fluker; two brothers, 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
