D. W. Dight, aged 65, one of the well known farmers of Liberty township, died at the family home in Harlansburg at 9 p.m. Friday, following a three weeks illness, due to complications. Mr. Dight was born in Liberty township, Mercer county, the son of William H. and Sara A. Dight, April 17, 1865 and has lived in Harlansburg the past two years. He was a member of the Plaingrove Presbyterian church and had served as an elder the past twenty five years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Pisor Dight, two sons, Lyle W. and Leroy of Plaingrove, four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Nelson, Mrs. Ella Wolford, Mrs. Inex McCoy of New Castle, Mrs. Charlotte Eagleson of New Wilmington and a brother, John H. of North Liberty. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. E. S. T. from the family residence with Rev. A. I. Dickenson in charge and interment will be made in the Plaingrove cemetery.
