Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery with Dr. Shawn Johnson, minister of Wheeler Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowerman was born July 28, 1913, to David Edward Bowerman and Pearl Ruth Bowerman in Nocona in Montague County. Mr. Bowerman, his mother and two brothers moved to Wheeler in 1922. He married Norma Aline Harris in 1933. He worked as a mechanic for Ware Chevrolet for 20 years. Mr. Bowerman was a member of Wheeler Masonic Lodge No. 1099 A.F. & A.M. and had received the 50-year pin. He had been a member of Wheeler Church of Christ since 1933.
He was preceded in death by a son, Denny Bowerman in 1994.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dale Bowerman of Austin and David Bowerman of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Betty Wainright of Pampa; and 10 grandchildren.
