Knoxville - John "J.K." West, age 93 of Knoxville, passed away December 16, 2020. He was a lifelong member of Bell's Campground United Methodist Church. He was part of the church bowling league and was an usher for U.T. football and men and women's basketball games for 51 years. Veteran of the Navy Seabees.

Preceded in death by his wife, Jean Caldwell West; parents, E.R. and Gladys West; brothers, Earl, Bob, Beryl (Elsie), Don Ray, and Avery West; great-greatgrandson, Patrick.

Survived by daughters, Linda (Bill) Storey, Sherry (Steve) Smith; six grandchildren and spouses, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Cheryl) West; sisters-in-law, Imogene and Jo Ella West and Jeanette Caldwell; brother-in-law, David (Judy) Caldwell and a large loving family, special church friends, neighbors, ushers and close friends at U.T.

Special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 9th floor at U.T. Hospital.

Visitation will be held Tuesday at Weaver's Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with the service to follow. Family and friends will meet at Weaver Funeral Home on Wednesday to proceed to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 12:00 pm interment. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com.
