He was born Sepember 1, 1912 in Coffey County, the son of James and Lena Madden Gibson.
Frank was a farmer and a dairyman north of Circleville and a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church.
He married Rozella Hutchinson June 30, 1931 at Hiawatha. She survives.
Frank was preceded in death by a son, Richard Gibson, who died in 1942, three sisters, Mabel Weidenbaker, Ruth Daugherty, and Opal Heberling, and two brothers, Orville and Wilbur Gibson.
Other survivors include one son, Gary Gibson and wife, Clara, Holton; one brother, Orlan Gibson, Holton; two grandchildren, Rick Gibson and Penny Parker, and three great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Circleville Methodist Church, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1034, 66436.
