Russell "Humpty" C. King, Jr. , 59 of Lyells, died March 7, 2009. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a retired truck driver for F.M. King.
Survivors are his wife, Doris Mae King; two sons, Joey R. King and Kevin B. King and his wife Robin, and two grandchildren, Camden and Chase King.
Funeral services were March 10, 2009 at Beulah Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Koon officiated. Pallbearers were Wayne Burgess, Michael Bryant, James E. Packett, Charles Langford, William Ambrose, Matthew Withers, Gregory Bayse and Robert Y. Jones.
