World War I veteran who died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at the Veterans Hospital at Indianapolis.
The Rev. Marcellus Crider, pastor of the local Nazarene Church, will officiate at the services and burial will be made at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
Mr. Woodruff's death was due to the rare Hodgkins Disease and followed several months illness.
Mr. Woodruff was born in Shelbyville on March 22, 1890. He was married to Miss Estella Gentry.
Seven children were born to them, five of whom survive. They are Juanita, Betty Lou, Gladys, Mary Frances and Judy Ann, all of Shelby County. Two children, Clarence and Bernice DeBaun precede him in death.
Survivors also include two half-brothers, Ralph and William Tucker; one half-sister, Mrs. Orpha Fisher, all of this city.
Mr. Woodruff served with the United States Army in the World War from 1917 to 1919.
