MCCALLA, Ala. Betty Hoffman, 82, of Tannehill Haven Assisted Living in McCalla, Ala., passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003. She had been a resident there for the past five years. She was formerly of Orrville.There will be no services at this time. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Hoover, Ala., is handling arrangements.She enjoyed golfing, shopping and cooking.Surviving are children, Kelly D. (Jessie) Hoffman and Carole H. (Paul) O'Connor; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard and Jeff Carson; and a sister, Virginia JoAnne Leiner.Her husband, Doyle W. Hoffman, and brothers, Lynn, John and Roger Carson, died previously.
