Celebration of Life service for Evelyn Murrow Mitchell, 62, Lawton, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Barnes officiating.

Inurnment will be at Highland Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Evelyn went to her heavenly home Friday, June 7, 2013.

Evelyn was born at Fort Sill on Feb. 17, 1951, to Harry and Margaret Kunert Harris. She grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton High School. Evelyn retired after 22 years of service with Nye Library, Fort Sill. Evelyn loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and dancing. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by: two daughters: Catherine R. Flynn and Margaret K. Murrow and fiance Damon Gibbs, all of Lawton; a son, Michael G. Murrow, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Margaret Tabor, of Cache; two brothers: Harry Harris, of San Diego; and Larry Harris, of Lake Jackson, Texas; grandchildren: Jared, Khalil, D'Nari, Drake, Michael III and A'Mari; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Harry and Margaret Harris; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patricia and Bracy Murrow.
