My grandfather was a farmer who loved working the land. He was quiet and reserved, but as he got older, he just loved having his grandchildren around. If he wasn't farming, you could always find him sitting at the steps of the sweetpotato house. I spent alot of time with him, working in the field, picking peppers, sweetpotatoes, potatoes & other crops. We worked together, sorting onions, peppers & getting the harvest ready for market. Those were some of the best times of my life.
