Booneville, KY - Ragan Becknell, 76, of Booneville, Route 2, died May 11th at the Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, after a short illness. A native of Owsley County, he was a member of the Baptist Church, a retired barber and farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Becknell; two sons, Kendall Becknell, and Bennie Becknell, both of Booneville; four daughters, Mrs. Nina Mays, Booneville; Mrs. Georgia Taylor, Franklin, OH; Mrs. Francis Renfro, Lexington; and Mrs. Ethel Harvey, Xenia, OH; and one brother, Hubert Becknell, Booneville; four sisters, Mrs. Malvery Margraves, Union, KY; Mrs. Lucy Hughes, Booneville; and Mrs. Lula Mainous, Hamilton, OH; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
