A Hutchinson resident since 1957, formerly of Sabetha, he worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for three years and then worked for several years at Kansas Farmers Service Association, retiring in 1987. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Forrest.
