ELKTON - C Victor Bert, 82, of 114 Morgan St., Elkton died Friday (Sept 10 1976) at Rockingham Memorial Hoswpital, where he had been a patient since July 29. Mr. Bert was born Sep 26, 1893 at Newville, Pa. and was the son of the late George and Ella Lyons Bert. He was a retired lanscape architect and was a member of the Elkton Presbyterian Church, Elkton Masonic Lodge, Elkton American Legion Post and past president of the Elkton-Shenandoah Rotary Club. On june 24, 1967, he married his second wife, the former Madalin Trobaugh Miller, who survives. Graveside services will be conducted 4 p.m. Sunday in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. James B Martin. The family will receive friends at the Kyger-Trobaugh Funeral Home 7:30-8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the organ fund of the Elkton Presbyterian Church.
