Raymond L. Cook, Arcola Man, Dies
ARCOLA, Ill. — Raymond Lester Cook, 49, Arcola, died at 10 a.m. today at Jarman Hospital, Tuscola. He had been suffering with a heart ailment.
The body was taken to the Shrader funeral home here. Arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Cook was born Oct. 20, 1909 in South Dakota, the son of Harmon and Ida Stewart Cook. On April 8, 1930, he married Kathryn Rollings.
He was a member of Filson Methodist Church and was employed at the U.S. Industrial Chemicals Co. plant at Tuscola. Mr. Cook was a former Arcola high school athlete.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Raymond at home; a daughter, Janet, Champaign, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Wesch, Birmingham, Mich.
