On the twenty-second of October eighteen hundred thirty-nine, considering the dispensation of two banns of marriage and the publication of the third bann at our parochial masses of Quebec and St Jean Chrysostome, between Peter Heney, shoemaker, domiciled in the parish of St Jean Chrysostome, son of age of Thomas Heney and Ann Mangan (or Morgan) on the one part; and, Ellen Mountain minor daughter of the late Bernard Mountain and Suzanna Doonan on the other part; seeing that the minor party, Ellen Mountain, had her mother's consent, also domiciled in the parish of Quebec, we, the undersigned priest of this parish, have received their mutual consent of marriage and have given them the nuptial blessing in the presence of James Corrigan, friend of the groom; and Anne Colgan, friend of the bride; only the groom signed, the others declared that they could not sign.

On May 8th, 1871 the undersigne prieset of St. Patrice buried the remains of Ellen Mountain the spouse of Peter Heney, deceased the day before yesterday.
