F. M. Frederick
F.M. Frederick was born December 4, 1880, at Clyde, Kan., and passed away October 28, 1951, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 24 days.
He moved in early childhood to Belleville where he and his parents made their home.
On August 25, 1903, he married Myrtle Estelle Montgomery at St. Joseph, Mo., and they continued to live in Belleville until 1908, when they moved to Fairbury, Neb. To them three children were born. Mrs. Frederick preceded him in death November 27, 1939.
At the age of 17, he began work for Rock Island railroad, retiring as a conductor at the age of 65 years. He was a member of the Order of Railway Trainmen.
On December 17, 1942, he married Ethel Retherford of Belleville.
Frank joined the Baptist church at Belleville in young manhood, transferred his membership to the Fairbury Baptist church, holding many offices in the church there. At the time of his death he was member of the Board of Deacons and chairman of the Board of Ushers.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Buelah, Mrs. Ed M. Brown of Glendale, Cal., and Mrs. Frances E. Junker of Pasadena, Cal.; one son, George Lynn Frederick of Glendale, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Brown of Fairbury, Neb.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 31, at the Baptist church in Fairbury, with the minister, the Rev. C.W. McAninch, officiating. Interment was in Belleville cemetery.
