Wednesday (Jan. 9, 1991) in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Auburn,
with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 7 p.m. Masonic services. Burial will
be in Mount Auburn Cemetery. Memorials: donor's choice.
Mr. Bottrell was born in Mount Auburn on March 7, 1890, son of Sampson and
Mary Leeper Bottrell. He was a 70year member of Kedron Masonic Lodge 340
AF&AM, Mount Auburn. He retired from farming in 1975. He married Ina Bailey in
1912. She died in 1972.
Surviving are his sons, Carol of Mount Auburn; Dale of Decatur; daughter, Mrs.
Marvin (Verda) Montgomery of Mount Auburn; four grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren.
His parents, wife, son, Russell, four sisters, two brothers, two half brothers
and one half sister preceded him in death.
