Hampton Eugene Abbott was buried at First Baptist Church in Hartsville, South Carolina. When the church expanded, they were forced to relocate a number of graves from the church cemetery to other locations. The church was unable to locate his parents at the time the relocations were taking place (they were living in Florida at the time). The church does not have a record as to what happened to the grave. We do not know if the grave was relocated and if so, to where it was moved.
