Pfc. George E. Bergman, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bergman, 3436 Avenue E, was killed in action June 10, 1945, on Okinawa, according to word received here by his parents. He entered the infantry Sept. 17, 1944, and had been overseas about four months. He attended Thomas Jefferson high school. A brother, Marine Pfc. John Bergman, is now in the Pacific.
