102, of Johnston previously of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Barnes and Edward Richardson. Mary was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Fulhaber) Peter.

Mrs. Richardson worked at the VA Hospital in the dietary department for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her loving son Walter C. Barnes and his wife Patricia of Cranston; and was also the sister of the late Charles Peter.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning 9:30-10:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
