Born in Rockport, Ky., he was a resident of Clarksville, Ind., and had been a winter resident of Interlachen since 1979. He was a retired engraver with Southern Gravure in Louisville, Ky., and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He was also a past president of the Optimist Club of Clarksville, Ind., and a past master and member of Rockport Masonic Lodge #312 F&AM.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Ky. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in beaver Dam with Masonic Lodge #312 conducting graveside rites.
