C. HUGH FAIRCLOTH PASSES AT HOME, LOUISVILLE, RT. 1
C. Hugh Faircloth, age 57, died March 26, at his home on route 1, Louisville. He had been in declining health for about a year but death came suddenly.
Mr. Faircloth was a native of Pike County but had resided in Barbour for the past 28 years. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Faircloth.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hugh Faircloth, route 1, Louisville; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lee Baker, Miss Jean Faircloth, Miss Bertha Faircloth and Miss Rebecca Faircloth, Louisville; four sons, Warren, James Huey, Andrew C. and A. Thomas Faircloth, all of Louisville; one brother, Roy Faircloth, Clayton and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 27 from the Methodist Church, Louisville and was conducted by the Rev. W. H. Griggs and Rev. K. Thomas. Interment was in the Louisville cemetery with Godwin Funeral Home in charge.
Active pallbearers were Andrew B. Faircloth, Buford Faircloth, J. S. Faircloth, Lester Faircloth, Delma Faircloth and Tom Faircloth. Honorary pallbearers were Foster Ham, Finous Beaty, Hoarn Hovey, Julian Baker, Cody Kennedy, J. W. Clark.
