Her mother was Veronicka Anna Kramolis born abt 1868 and died abt 1905. She was born and died in (Austria) Horni Becva, Moravia, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia.
Mrs. Veronika Zetocha, 75, was found dead in her home at Colon, about 5:30 Tuesday evening. Her death was apparently due to natural causes according to George Haessler, county attorney and acting coroner.
Mrs. Zetocha, who lived alone, was known to have been suffering with a heart condition.
Her body was found after Mrs. John Houdek, postmaster at Colon, noticed that the elderly woman had not called for her mail since Saturday and had not attended church services on Sunday.
Mrs. Zetocha, who was born in Horni Becva, Moravia, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia in 1878, coming to this country in 1903. She formerly lived in Weston.
Survivors are sons, Louis and Joe of Omaha, and Sylvester, Jr. of California; and daughters, Mrs. Ann Taylor of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Vera Gates of Perry, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Jezek of Omaha, Mrs. Julia Thomas and Mrs. Alba Magnuson of California, Mrs. Frances Kubena of Minnesota and Mrs. Barbara Keck of Grand Island.
Rosary will be recited at 7:15 Thursday night at the Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Colon on Friday morning at ten am.
Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo. Svoboda Funeral Home has charge or the arrangements.
