Mr. Monteiro was formerly employed as a merchant seaman for Exxon Corporation for over 30 years.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Exxon Annuitants Club.
....He was the brother of the late Arthur R., Mario R., and Felix R. Monteiro and Cesar Vidal, and son-in-law of the late Evangelos G. and Olga (Bakakeas) Patisteas.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery...."
