Mrs. Julia Casey Gelisse, 90, entered into rest Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Mrs. Gelisse was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. She retired from Armour Company after 25 years and from Kendall Company after 16 years. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Family members include her son: Bill Casey and wife Dianne; sisters: Eva Benson and Jenny Flanders; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her first husband: Tillman Casey; second husband: Charles "Chuck" Gelisse; brothers: Henry and Alex Faulkner; and sisters: Louise Kelly, Dorothy McMichael, and Imogene Nimmons.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Julie Cooper, RN and Susan Johnson, for their professional in home care.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
