COFFIELD, Adrian Joseph passed away peacefully at 12:58 am Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was 89 years old. Adrian is survived by his wife, Suzanne Townsend and her three children. Adrian worked for Grand Trunk Railroad for most of his life as an electrician in the Detroit, Michigan area. He and his wife of 61 years, Elmira LeFaive Coffield, spent their later years living in Sun City Center, Florida, where Adrian played baseball well into his 60s and also enjoyed the game of golf. Elmira passed away in 2005. Mr. Coffield is survived by their four children, Patricia Coffield Laverty, Barry Coffield, Michael Coffield and Pamela Coffield Melcher and their spouses; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eileen Sakowski of Warren, Michigan. A funeral Mass will be held for Mr. Coffield at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11 am. Prior to the Mass a brunch will be held in the Prince of Peace Church hall at 9:30 am. A private family burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
