Funeral services were held at Holy Family Cathedral on Sept. 16 for Esther G. Hughes, 95, who died on Sept. 11. She was born in Chicago on Oct. 3, 1900, and had lived in Tustin area for 14 years.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by sons William of Arizona and Robert of Illinois; daughters Eileen Cermak of Arizona and Carole Freres of Mission Viejo; sister Bernice Doppke of Illinois; brother Randall Clark of Paradise; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Burial was at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Saddleback Chapel made the arrangements.
