Mr. Durham was a native of Georgia and lived most of his life in Etowah County. He retried from Republic Steel as an Inspector in the sheet mill after 34 years of service and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Belle Durham, Gadsden; daughter, Mrs. Gail McBurnett, Gadsden; son-in-law, Gene McBurnett, Gadsden; son, Marion Durham, Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Gary, Charlotte, Benny, Steve, Todd and Brian McBurnett, Sandra and Steve Horne, all of Gadsden; Johnny and Margo Durham, both of Miami, Fla.; David and Leah Durham, both of Hollywood, Fla.; Glenda and Andy Kerr, Both of Boaz; great-grandchildren, Christina and Nicholas Horne, Gadsden; John-John, Scott, Bridget and Brandi Durham, all of Florida; Angie, Christie, and Michael Kerr, all of Boaz, and great-great-granddaughters, Ashley Young and Brittany Young Durham, both of Florida.
