Mr. Brown was born near Dewitt. September 13, 1869, a son of George L. and Virginia Cresap Brown.
He married Oilie Collins, April 14, 1897.
Surviving are his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Denison of Farmer City.
A sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
