“Pat” Million, 52, of Rt. 2, Monticello, were Monday at 10 a.m. at the Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello, with the Rev. Clark Shearer officiating. Burial was in
Oak Grove Cemetery.
He died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 12, 1981, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
Born March 17, 1929, in Carroll County, he was the son of Cecil and Minerva Fowler Million. He was married on Aug. 16, 1949, to June Newell, who survives.
Million had lived and farmed his entire life on the farm in Jefferson Township, Carroll County, where he was born. An elder and lifetime member of the Oak Grove Christian
Church, he was a director of the Yeoman Telephone Company, a trustee of the Oak Grove Cemetery Association, and a member of the Twin Lakes Holding Corporation. He had attended Purdue University.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Diane Kay Crooks of Westerville, Ohio, and Susan Patricia Smith of Indianapolis; one brother, Richard Million of Delphi;
one sister, Alice Cox of Monticello; and three grandchildren.
